Alberto Aspesi showroom
Milan - Italy - 1998
The Aspesi showroom, located on Via Brera in Milano, is a 340 sq. meter space combining a number of rooms once used as service spaces for a patrician residence from the 1700s.

The internal layout is a clear sign of the baroque origins: the spaces open onto other spaces, arranged around a porticoed courtyard – later roofed over with a flat covering with glass bricks – with pink Montorfano granite columns.
The rooms are airy, austere, and the furnishing underline the absolute simplicity of the spaces, precisely interpreting the spirit and philosophy of the garments by Aspesi.
The white dominant of the walls and the flooring – obtained with a mixture of marble powders combined with epoxy – together with a display fixture system composed of brushed stainless steel tubing and shelves in white painted wood with built-in lighting, are evidence of the desire to define spaces of timeless, classical elegance.
The protagonist is light, that takes on a mixed connotation, somewhere between an art gallery and a design studio.
